Hafla Karimah

Hafla Karimah runs
* the Inchture Hafla, in Inchture every March and
* the Northern Lights Hafla in Newport-on-Tay in November.

A Hafla is a cabaret-style evening of dance and performances, for dancers, by dancers and features everything from classical Egyptian Belly Dance through to Arabic Flamenco and Tribal ATS.

"Karimah" means "generous" and since the first event in 2006, Hafla Karimah has raised over £7,000 for British charities.

In August 2010, Hafla Karimah became a Registered Charity in Scotland - SC041691

Aims...

Hafla Karimah's aims are to make available monetary donations to charities and/or other groups which promote
a. The advancement of health or
b. The advancement of human rights or
c. The prevention or relief of poverty or
d. The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage or
e. The saving of lives or
f. The advancement of animal welfare within the United Kingdom and/or other countries.
